MYSTERIOUS DISAPPEARANCE" AT SEA. ' ;■■ (Received Last Night, 9 o'clock.) LONDON, October 1. Herr Rudolph Diesel, the inventor of the Diesel oil engine, disappeared on the North Sea while journeying t© England. . The disappearance is a mystery. ■ Diesel was travelling to London to attend a company meeting, and was accompanied by Herr Carols, a director, and Herr Luckmann, chief engineer. The three separated in the evening to go to their cabins. \ ■■_■■■ Diesel jiad not slept in his birth, ing the deck owing to occasional ating the deck owing to occasion attacks of insomnia, and fell overboard. .
