THE WAIRARAPA SHOW
There are many ways and means that an Agricultural Society win employ in the conduct of its affairs, and the organising of its annual show, to make the latter a success; and each one of the many seems to have been carefully employed &y t!~ &ii<l East CoaSt P. and A. Society, whose advertisement we publish to-day. The society's popularity and success are attributable to the very pronounced enthusiasm of its officers and members, by whose efforts it is in a- position to-day to offer to exhibitors attending the 36th show, unequalled accommodation and comfort for exhibits in covered sheep pens, over 60 covered horse stalls, and 150 covered cattle stalls. The society claims a record, in this respect, at anyrate, for the North Island. The schedule lately issued announces generous prizes, and a number of entirely new champion awaids. These especially are worthy of note by breeders of cattle or sheep, for competition is sure to be keen., and winners will reap the usual profits accruing to those securing them. Valuable prizes have been presented to the society since its programme was issued, and these will form an additional incentive to those who have ssock selected for exhibition to include the Wairarapa society's show in their list of visits. The schedule gives some interesting information concerning stock trains, and the times they arrive <and depart, also regarding the accommodation of stock before the show, and excur=s«m fai»sidlow©d T *6' stock attendants on th« society's eertSSoate. T3*e publication is very completej and-the society is,very willing to, give any ad-: ditional information required ;•■; •
