ADDRESS BY HIS MAJESTY. GREAT STRIDES BEINu MADE. (Received Last Night, 5.5 o'clock.) LONDON, Sept. 27. His Majesty the King, at the termination of the military manoeuvres, addressed General Sir John French and other officers. He remarked that the exercises entailed the employment of a larger force under one Commander than was ever bef>r© practised in England. This served to develop that common understanding and cooperation between the differ en: armies, units, and formations, so essential to success fn the field. He was glad to notice a considerable increase in the aircraft. He wac convinced that great strides wore teing made in the practical training of all ranks.
