, /#The complimentary performance of 'The Geisha" being staged in the Town Hall, \Masterton, on Mnoday evening for Mr Harry Hall must_appeal to Mr Hall's many friendW-sfld' admirers. There is not a society in •<and around Masterton that have not had Kis valuable services at their entertainments. His name, as the "comic man," is a household one. Everybody knows him ancTeverybody has a warm spot for him. The Masterton Amateur Theatrical Society wish to show their appreciation of v his long services to them, anß also to give Mr Hall's many frifftds a chance to participate in the compliment by filling the Town Hall to the doors. The society are not losing Mr Hall's services, as he has intention of leaving Masterton, a fact many folks will be pleased to know. With regard to the performance, the members are out to put oil the best effort they have yet made. Mr C. J. Hill, the well-known flutist, will again assist the orchestra, which will be quite the same as before. There will only be one performance, so that all who intend seeing'"The Geisha" before the seiison closes should make a point of being present on, Monday eyening. ■ Seats are rapidly booking at the Dresden.
