Watchorn (Palmerston Norths was referee. There were no knock-outs. ' Results : Oxley (Pahiatua) 6st beat McDonald (Pahiatua) ost 11-lb; B. Kelly (Pahiatua) lOst 71b beat McFarlane (Woodville), lOst 71b; Quimr (Pahiatua) 9st 31b beat Early (Pahiatua) 9st 121b; McGrath (Pahiatua) lOst 101b and 1 Frost (Dannevirke) list 51b fought a draw; Brown (Palmerston North) Bst 131b beat Ellis (Pahiatua) 9st 101b; J. Kelly (Pahiatua) 9st 61b and O. 01sea (Masterton) lOst, a draw; Oxley (Pahiatua) 9st 61b beat Ellis (Pahiatua) lOst 81b; Mexted (Masterton) 10 st 41b beat Scorrar (Mauriceville) 10 st 41b. O. Olsen was awarded the trophy for the most scientific boxer.
