TO-DAY'S WEATHER.
NEW ZEALAND FORECAST. WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Bev. D. 0. Bates, of the Meteorological office, last evening wired as follows r^ The barometer has risen in the south, and is now! very high everywhere. Northerly and westerly winds have predominated, with decreasing f oirce, and weather conditions have been generally more favourable today. Present indications are for variable breezes, giving place to increasing northerlies and westerlies after about 24 hours with a falling barometer; then fair, mild, and hazy conditions are probable, misty at times on the coasts, and with "increasing cloudiness for a general change following.
