MINING NEWS.

TMe Worksop DreDGE. v supervisor's report under date September 13th was as' follows: —"I beg report an ordinary run of 110 fiours for a return of HOoz 12dwts. Two days were put in on the good end of the out and the dredge was shifted out on to the river end of the cut, the balance of week being put in there. With working two days on good end one cannot say how the river end is. The incoming week will be on the river end and will give us an idea of the value of that end of the cut."-
