Mr Gerald Deidrich, of Hokitika, died at Palmerston North yesterday, after'an operation for appendicitis. Ho'was on his honeymoon trip with his bride, and intended leaving for Sydney by to-morrow's boat. The death otocurred at Blenheim on Saturday, of Mr Charles o,'SulHvan, a resident of Tua Marina of long standing at the age of 75 years. He was born at Blackrock, Cork, Ireland, in 1838, and after serving in the navy, arrived in Nelson in 1863. He was one of the pilgrims of the Gabriel's Gully rush".
