TO-DAY'S WEATHER.
NEW ZEALAND FORECAST. WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Rev. D. 0. Bates, of* the Meteorological office, - last evening Wired as follows: — Much rain has fallen in t|e w&stern districts of-the South Island, anil the weather has been changeable elsewhere, with strong and squally northerly winds. The barometric pressure is still above normal generally, but .has increased in the south. Present indications are for squally and changeable weather generally, heavy rain in high country, and in the West Coast and southern districts of the South Island. High northerly winds are probable, with a westerly tendency soon. The barometer is falling.
