OLYMPIC GAMES.
ALLOTTING THE FUND. Times'—'Sydney Sun' Special Cables. (Received Last Night, 7.10 o'clock.) : LONDON, Sept. 16. The Olympic Committee has earmarked a portion of the.fund to enable teams from the Dominions 'to complete their training in England, prior to going to Germany. The Committee has announced that it is proposed to make grants to athletic association fpr four years, total* ling £16,000. The" grants will be made as follows: Irish Amateur Athloti© Association, £3600; Scottish Association, £1000; National Cyclists' Association, £2730; Gymnasiums, £1945; Wrestling, £3050; Swimming, £5570; Fencing, £BIO. The cost of sending 500 v athletes to Berlin a fortnight before the Games is estimated at £16,000.
