NEW ZEALAND FORECAST. WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Rev. D.iO. Bates, of the Meteorological onice, last evening wired as follows:—-
The centre of the anti-cyclone has progressed further to the eastward, and the barometer has fallen slightly. Northerly winds have freshened everywhere; and the weather has been mild and haay generally, and cloudy skies have been more prevalent today. Present indications are for /strong northerly winds and a falling barometer everywhere. The weather is f likely to prove squally and changeable, becoming more unsettled, with' rain following, especially in those districts with westerly and southerly aspects.
