Miss Moore, of Victoria Street, has returned from a holiday visit to Wellington. Mrs S. H. Rasmussen, of Ihuraua Valley, has taken a house in Eketahiina, with a view to giving her four daughters a good education. Candles are used instead of ordinary light. The musio is supplied by a concertina, or some such instrument, and the refreshments are—well, indescribable. There is some sort of a mad function of this character being organised in Masterton.
