(By Telegraph — Press Association.) OAMARU, Sunday. Thero is a fair inquiry for wheat, but holders do not readily respond, thero being very little held by grocers. Velvet lias changed hands at 4s, and for ono line a penny more was rriven. Red-chaff still fetches 3s 9d, Tuscan 3s 6d, and 3s 7d, and Marshall White 3s Gd, all net at country stations. Business in oats during the week has been limited. "A" grades sell at 2s Id and 2s ljd, and "B grade at 2s all -net. Oaten sheaf chaff sells at £3 10s net on trucks and lighter quality at the name figure, delivered at store. Offerings of potatoes are numerous, but there aro few buyers. For one line of prime freshly picked £2 was given, but other sales of picked took place at £1 15% less commission, and £1 12s 6d net, and these prices represent the value here.
