TO-DAY'S WEATHER.
NEW ZEALAND FORECAST. WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Rev. D. 0. Bates, of th* Meteorological office, last evening wired as follows: An extensive anti-cyclone has ac-. counted for fair 'weather generally, but the conditions have been unsettled at times in the extreme south. The wind has been moderate and variable. Present indications are for moderate to strong and increasing northerly winds,' and mild and' hazy conditions; misty times on .coasts, and cloudiness" increasing generally. The barometer is. likely to fall fast everywhere soon, for an area -of low pressure is noiw located to the westward in the Tasman Sea. .
