THE ULSTER AGITATION. PROPOSED CONFERENCE. (Received Last Night, s.s~'o'clock.) - LONDON, Sept. 13.
The Bov. B. J. Campbell, Congregational minister At the City Temple, interviewed after a visit to Ulster, said the agitation there could in no respect be regarded as "bluff." He hoped that Lord Loreburn's suggestion for a conference would be carried out.
Lords Grey and ' Brassey, and Messrs T. D. Acland and W. O'Brien, M.P., support the proposal, to hold a conference. PRESS COMMENTS. < THE ISSUE AT STAKE. , (Received Last Night, 5.5 o'clock.) LONDON, Sept. 13. The newspaper comments on Lord Loreburn's proposal show that the issue is likely to centre on the question of whether the Unionists, will consent to eome form of break-up of the legislative union.
