Mivs H. Smith, of Pahiatua, is the guest of her mother, Mrs Meredith, of Llandaff. Mrs Archie Daniell, of Albert Street, has gone to Auckland for a change. The entries for the Horticultural Society's Spring Show were large, and among so many lovely bulbs the judging must have been very difficult. The Town Hall was gay with all kinds of spring flowers, and attracted quite a crowd of admirers, -among whom were Mr and Mrs H. Perry, Mrs Vallance, Miss Pay ton, Mr and Mrs Boddington, Mrs J. Caselberg, Mrs A. Caselberg, Mrs Baird, Mrs Gawith, Misses Gawith (2), Mrs Ewart, Mr and Mrs M. Meredith, Mr anclMrs Skeet. Mrs Harrison, Miss Harvey (Wanganui), Mrs Carpenter, Mm W. Beetham, Mrs H. Beetham, Miss M. Cameron, Masses Byford (2), Mrs Pilmer, Mr and Mrs H. T, Wood, Mrs Mackersey, Mrs H. Smith (Pahiatua), Miss Macara, Miss Thompson, Mrs Cook, Mrs Booth, Mrs Beard:, Mrs L. Moore, Miss Hirsc'hberg, Miss Bristow, Mr and Mrs Trimble, Mrs Wordell, Miss Wardell, Miss Elliott, Mrs A. Vale, Mr and Mis Hood, Mrs Jameson, Mr and Mrs McGregor, Mrs Barnicoat, Mr and Mrs Buchanan, Miss Stewart, Mr and Mrs E. Williams, Miss W. Moore, Miss Holmwool, Misses Baird (2), Mrs A. Bunny, Miss Fitzgerald, Mr and Mrs H. M. Boddington, Miss Beard, Miss McKenzie. Miss Whitford, of Masterton, is at present on a visit to Wellington, and is stayng at the Windsor. At St. Thomas's Church, Sandon, a very pretty wedding took place on Tuesday, when Miss R. €. Henderson was married to Mr W. W. Thomas. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Blackburne, and Miss Clarke presided at the organ. The bride was given away by her father, and wore a tailor-made gown of navy blue and hat with pink roses. Miss A. Henderson acted as bridesmaid, and also wore blue. Mr Thomas, was attended by his brother.
