EKETAHUNA TO PONGAROA.
PROPOSED MOTOR SERVICE. The committee appointed to go into the matter of establishing a motor service between Eketahuna and Pongara has held a number of meetings, since the conference in Eketahuna last week, and it has now'decided to go ahead with the formation of a Company. A prospectus is in course of preparation, and provisional directors will be announced within a day or two. Mr F. Wise will then make a systematic canvass of the districts concerned in order to secure subscribers for shares. Promises of support have so far been most encouraging and there is every reason to believe that the company will be an established fact within a short space of time. The capital of the company is fixed at £s,ooo.—Express.
