SCHOONER LOST.
CREW ATTJKJKED BY INDIANS
(Received* Last Night, 10.40 o'clock.) NEW, YORK, Sept. 5; News have been received, of the total loss of the British schooner Mersey, flear the Isle of Pines, to the South.of Cuba. The vessel drifted on to the beach and sank.
The crew were saved after escaping the attacks of San Bias Indians, who attempted to loot the .schooner.
