TO-DAY'S WEATHER.
■ NEW ZEALAND FORECAST. "WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Bev. D. O. Bates, of the Meteorological office, last evening wired as follows: Stormy weather has been experienced in many parts of the Dominion, with heavy rain, and the rivers flooded ip. Westland. The barometer has continued low and unsteady in the south, with a slight rise to-day. Present indications are for strong westerly winds, unsettled and cloudy weather, with lain probable generally. The barometer has a falling tendency, especially in the north, and the immediate aspect presents every appearance of a continuance of bad weather for two or three days.
