CABLE NEWS

(Catted Prm Ameiation —Bp Sitetrie Ttkffra9b—Oopitri§hi.\

HIS DAUGHTER'S BOOK. SOME REMARKABLE EXPERIENCES. (Received Last Night, 10.15 o'clock.) LONDON, Sept. 4. Miss E. Stead.'s book, entitled "My Fatherfi" contains some remarkable experiences. It declares that the late Mr W. T. Stead was to have had the disposal of Mr Cecil Rhodes' fortune, on lines laid down by Mr Rhodes, but as Mr Stead was violently opposed to Mr Rhodes', war policy, Mr Rhodes appointed other trustees. Miss Kstelle Stead relates that three weeks after his being drowned, the late Mr Stead appeared at "Julia's" bureau and assured the audience: "All I have told you is true!"
