TO-DAY'S WEATHER.
NEW ZEALAND FORECAST. WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Rev. D. 0. Bates, of the Meteorological office, last evening wired as follows: The mercury showed an increase of atmospherio pressure this morning, and a temporary improvement in the general weather conditions, though considerable rain has fallen on the West Coast and southern districts. Strong and squally westerlies have prevailed. Present indications are for high westerly winds with squally and cloudy weather generally. Rain is probable in all' parts of the Dominion in the next two or three days, and heavy <m the West Coast and southern districts, with - the rivers flooded. A further fall in the barometer is probable everywhere.
