THROWN FROM HORSE AND DROWNED. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Last Night. A telegram has been received by Police Superintendent Mitchell from the constable at Mangawai, fifteen miles from Wellsford, as follows: — "Horace Colin Campbell, farmer, single, sixty-four years of age, was found in the Mangawai river at 1 o'clock yesterday with a, saddle between his legs. He had evidently been.drowned. The horse wad seen close by, with a broken bridle.'"
