The British Parliamentarians were welcomed at a civic luncheon in the Town Hall The Lord Mayor, in concluding his speech, said: "We are welcoming the directors from the head office of John Bull and Co." ''• . This ser.timent was echoed by t others in speeches, and provoked loud cheering. Lord Sheffield declared that the visitors and their hosts were all shareholders in tho company, which the j iord Mayor had omitted to describe as limited.
