Our Own Correspondent. A party of -notorists were out on Sunday, and secured a large bag of rabbits. Mr R. Tankersley, senr., has.disposed of his proyerty to Mr W. Welch (iate of tho Prince of Wales stables, Masterton), nt a satisfactory figure. Mr Welch taken possession at the end of September. Mr J. Campbell, junr., has a percentage of 200 lambs on his Essendale farm, which is a record for the district. A painful accident befel Mr H. Daken a few days ago. ' He ran a piece of wood into his thumb. Dr Archer Hosking attended the sufferer, who is progressing as well as can be expected. , ' Mrs J. Campbell, of Waipipi, Opaki,' is oohfined to her bed from a severe attack of influenza. Her many friends wish her a speedy recovery. Another case of scarlet fever is reported from the Opaki school.
