TO-DAY'S WEATHER.
( NEW ZEALAND FORECAST. WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Rev. D. 0. Bates, of the Meteorological office, las* evening wired as follows: — An improvement in weather conditions was reported on the East Coast this morning, but oold, showery and changeable weather has prevailed. The atmospherio pressure is below 'normal, but m higher than yesterday. Present indications are for westerly winds, strong to gale, generally. Squally and showery weather, with heavy rain on the West Coast and in southern districts. The barometer will probably rise temporarily in the south, but fall again soon for a westerly storm.
