STEAMERS COLLIDE.
- ONE BADLY DAMAGED. 'Times' —'Sydney Sun' Special Cables. (Received Last Night, 6.55 o'clock.) LONDON, August 28, A Hamburg-Amerika liner collided with the Spanish steamer Galaico at midnight, the bowa of the latter being crushed. The vessel filled with water, and the crew of nineteen took to the boats • and were rescued by the liner, and landed at Falmouth. The Galaico is a menace to shipping in the Channel, where she is drifting about iai a water-logged condition. ;
