TO-DAY'S WEATHER.
m NEW ZEALAND FORECAST. WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Rev. D, C. Bates, o! the Meteorological office, last evening wired as fpllowg:— Cold and changeable weather !has prevailed, with variable winds, but moderate to strong westerlies now predominate. There has been a slight fall in the mercury about East Cape, but little movement elsewhere. Present indications are for unsettled ' and cloudy weather, with rain following generally, with westerly winds, moderate to strong prevailing, and changing to northerly. The barometer is unsteady, with ia falling tendency everywhere soon.
