CATACOMBS CONTAINING MUMMIES. 'Times'—'Sydney Sun' Special Cables. (Received August 27, 8.80 a.m.) ' CAIRO, August 26/ Labourers sinking wells at Ras el Din Castle discovered, at a depth of iifty feet, aataoombs containing mummies and a lamp inscribed with hieroglyphics. Other .antiquities werealsefound. The discoveries are regarded as most important, and further excavations will be undertaken immediately.
