TO-DAY'S WEATHER.
NEW ZEALAND FORECAST. WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Rev. D. O. Bates, of the Meteorologioal office, last evening wired as follows: — Strong south-easterly winds have predominated,' bat northerlies now rule in the northernmost and southern districts. Oold, unsettled, and showery weather has prevailed. The barometer has shown a falling tendency everywhere. Present indications are for misty and cloudy weather, with rain # probably general, strong and variable winds, giving place to increasing northerlies. The barometer is unsteady, with a falling tendency. A low pressure area ia due to pass in the south about Friday.
