TO GAIN THE VOTE. , STATEMENT BY KEIR HARDIE. 'Times'—'Sydney Sun' Special Cab Us. (Received Last Night, 6.15 o'clock.) LONDON, August 26. Mr Keir Hardie, in an interview, stated that women would gain the vote after the next general eleotion. The new House would adhere to the principle of woman's suffrage. The present House was favourable, but Mr Asquith opposed discussion on the question. Mr Keir Hardie added that Mr Asquith was unlikely to continue as Premier, and would be succeeded by Sir Edwardi Grey.
