He was riding a gelding by Somniform—Culverin when, his mount bolted off the course. Going past Cutt's the gelding came down and gave-Murfitt a bad shaking, but it is not anticipated that the injuries are serious. Wanganui nominations close tonight. J. Phillips has just taken in hand a six-year-old gelding by Merrie England—Sweet Oil (by Petroleum). The newcomer is somewhat in the rough at present, but looks like one that wjll come to hand quickly.
