TO-DAYS WEATHER.
NEW ZEALANS FORECAST. WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Rev; D. 0. Bates, of the Meteorological office, last evening wired as foHows: —; The barometer rose* rapidly on Saturday night and Sunday .morning, and a decided improvement in the weather followed generally, though cloudy skies are still reported in the northern and southernmost districts. Present indications are for moderate to strong easterly winds, with generally unsettled and cloudy weather probable northward of East Cape and Kawhia, and at times in the southernmost districts, but fair to cloudy weather generally. The barometer has a falling tendency in the north, and is unsteady elsewhere.
