NOTICE is hereby given of the intention of the Masterton County Council at a meeting to be held on der the provisions of Sections 117.t0 119 of <r The Counties Act, 1908,"- to make the following rates for the year commenced on the Ist day of April, 1913,.and ending on the 31st day of March, 1914, upon the capital rateable value of all rateable property within the County of Masterton appearing on the Valuation Roll in force for the said* period:— General rates of one halfpenny : in the pound in each of the Ridings 'of ■* Opaki, Rangitumau, Uppei Taueru and Te Whiti. In the Riding of Waimiioru: A general rate of one penny, and s separate rate of three-sixteenth* of .a penny in the pound. In the Riding of Alfredton: A gen eral rate of one penny, and f separate rate of one farthing ii the pound. A separate maintenance rate in th< Upper Plain Water Supply Dis trict of one-seventh of a penn: in the pound.
