iSTOCK REPORTS. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., Pahiatua>, report on their Woodvillo heifer sale, held on Saturday, 9th inst., as follows: —There wag a good attendance of buyers and a large yarding of dairy heifers, and we report a good clearance at following, prices:—Good forward heifers £6 15s to £8 ss, later sorts £5 12s 6d to 1 £7, late sorts £4 to £5 7s 6d, dairy cows late calvers £3 17s 6d to £4 10s, dairy cows on the drop up to £9. Purchasers and vendors are notified that we will bo holding another sale of springing heifers on the drop on Wednesday, September 10th. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., Pahiatua, report on their Woodvillej stock sale, )he<l4 ton Monday, 11th inst.-, as follows:—We offered a good yarding of sheep and cattle to a large attendance of buyers, and have to - report a total clearance at following rates: —Fat ewes 18s lOd to 225, fat wethers up to 225, .mixed sexed hoggets up to 15s 7d, mixed age ewes in lamb up to 20s 6d, mixed age cull wethers to 8s 6d, call ewes in lamb 13s, dairy cows £5, £5 10s to £6, dairy heifers up to £5 17s 6d, later sorts £3 to £4, forward cows £3 to £3 ss, empty heifers up to £3, bulls 38s 6d to £3 Is, weaner steers 26s to £2 6s, 20-months steers £4 2s, light fat bullocks £7 7s > fat oows £8 155,. weaner pigs 14s to 14s 6d. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., Pahiatua, report on their Pahiatua stock sals, held on Tuesday, 12th inst., as follows: —A good yarding of sheep and cattle were offered to a good attendance of buyers. Bidding was spirited throughout and ewes and good .hoggets: showed a slight increase on late .'.market rates. Quotations: Mixed age ewes in lamb 14s Id, 19tf, 19s 6d to 21s; mixed lioggets 12s 7d, 13s, 13s 2d to 14s 9d; others 10s 3d, ewo hoggets 12s 7d to 14s x 3d, cull hoggets, 9s, fat wethers to 20s. Dairy oows close to profit £5 to £6 2s 6d, later sorts £4 to £5, springing heifers on the drop £8 10s to £9, later sorts £5 5s to £7, weaner steers 225, mixed weaners (good sorts) £2 ss, j. cull dairy cows £3 ss.

WAIPQUA STOCK SALE. Messrs W. and G. Turnbull and Co. Ltd. (late Jas. Macintosh a.nd Co.), report having held their usual weekly sale in their Waipoua (Masterton) sale yards, -when they offered a good yarding of sheep and cattle well above advertised numbers. -There was a very good attendance of buyers, and competition was Very keen throughout -the sale, and we report .practically a clearance atpr ipes well in advance of lates salfes." The ,following prices were realised Pat wethers 22s 6d to 30s for one good wether, fat wethers and ewe's 22s to 22s 3d, fat ewes 18s 9d, 225, 22s 3d to 27s for a good lot; fa& lambs 15s to 17s, forward lambs 13s 9d to 14®, woolly store lambs lis sd, woolly lambs (small) 8s Id, s.m. ewes in lamb 13s 6d Weaner steers £2 3s, dairy cows in calf £4 15s, £5, £5 5s to £6 17s 6d; store oows £2 5s to £2 10s, bulls £3 2s 6d, £4 Bs, £5 8s to £6; cows in calf £4, forward store oows £4 3s, weaner heifers £2 7s 6d, bull calf 335.

SOLWAY STOCK SALE. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report} At Sol way yesterday we submitted a fair yarding of sheep to an average attendance of bjuyers. Competition was rather keener than at last week's sale, ant! prices generally were better. Fat wethers brought 255, store do. 18s 9d, empty ewes 15s 6d, and medium hoggets lie 9d. Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having held their usual weekly sale at Solway on Wednesday, 13th inst., when, there was the usual attendance of buyers, and a fair yarding of stock, of which we made a total clearance under the hammer at the following prices: Mixed hoggets to 12s 10d, f.m. breeding ewes in lamb to S.D. rams to 16s 2d, f.m. breeding ewes in lamb to Romney rams to 16s 4d, fat and forward wethers to 20s lid.
