Three weeks' extension, of time was given the Royd Garlick Committee in which to bring down its report. The Local Bodies Loans Bill and iState, Advances Bill were read -«-a third time. r . : ■
The Methodist Union Bill was .put through its committee stages and passed. • The Public Trust Office Amendment Bill, which is based on the recommendations of the recent Commission, was read a second time on the voices, after a lengthy debate.
