NOTICE is hereby given of the intcntion of the Masterton County Council at a meeting to be held on , th; 12th day of AUGUST, 1913, tinder the provisions of Sections 117 to 119 of "The Counties Act, ,1908," to make the following rates for the year commenced on the let day of April, 1913, and ending on the 31st day of March, 1914, upon the. capital rateable value of all rateable property within the County of Masterton as appearing on the Valuation Roll in force for the said period:— General rates of one halfpenny in the pound in each of the Ridings of Opaki, Rangitumau, Upper Taueru and Te Whit}. In the Riding of Wainuioru: A general rate of one penny, and a separate rate of three-sixteenths of a penny in the pound. In the Riding of Alfredton: A general rate of one penny, and a separate rate of one farthing in the pound. A separate maintenance rate in the Upper Plain Water Supply Dis- " tnct of one-seventh of a penny in the pound. A separate maintenance rate in the, Opaki Water Supply District of nine-sixteenths of a penny in the pound. A separate maintenance rate in the Lansdowne Water Supply District of nine-sixteenths of a penny in the pound.
