AT LONG RANGE. 'Times' —'Sydney Sun' Special Cables. (Received August 11, 8.30 a.m.) PARIS, August 10. The. War Minister (M. Etienne) was an interested spectator of experiments by an Italian engineer to ignitel explosives at long distances by means of infra-violet rays. The experiments! were successful up to a range of fifteen miles.
