INTERNATIONAL MINERS' CONGRESS.
HOURS OF LABOUR. (SYDNEY "SUN" SPECIAL ) (Received August 6, 8.30 a.m.) LONDON, August 5. The International Miners' Congress at Carlsbad passed a resolution favouring an interval 'of sixteen hours between shifts not to exceed six weekly, the hours of labour in hot and wet places not to exceed six from bank 1 to bank. The Congress has adjourned for two years.
