The story of; the star film, "A Two-fold Inheritance," or "The Lady Crack >Sk.<t," is far apart from the oriho--1 dox. Nothing is exaggei-ated, but throughout the entire screening of this picture attention to detail and perfection in photo-play are marked features. The story shows how a girl who learned to be a crack shot with' a rifle was able to use the. same "The Lipton Gup," a Selig adoptato great advantage in later life. tion, introducing the famous yachtsman, Sir Thomas Lipton, should prove a fascinating dramatic item. A very fine prison life romance will be shown in the Kalem's latest effort entitled "The JEonour System," which goes to show that reform can be accomplished in other ways than punishment. A Western item will he given-itt another Kalem drama entitled "Bill from Arizona." A new comedy diversion will be shown in "Grateful Cupid," whilst "Eugene in Love" and "Bloomer's Governess" will also add materially to the comic element. "The Ainus of Japan" is an interesting Selig scenic. .. -
TOWN HALL PICTURES. "TO EIGHT ~TRE WRONG."; There was a record attendance afi the Town Hall, Masteiton, on Saturday afternoon and evening, when the Masterton -Picture and Entertainment Company presented their grand change of programme, which included "To Right the Wrong," a picture t"Eat shows that deep down in the worst of men there lies some grains of true gold. The story concerns two brothers, one of whom is a customs officer and the other a smuggler. In a skirmish the fcnuggler seriously wounds Jus brother and escapes. Not long afterwards, however, he proves that he possesses the ,o;pater love by nobly sacrificing his c'„n life to Bave his brother. "Natoosa"gives J the Vitagraph players an opportunity to appear in a breezy West Indian romance of love and adventur \ while "Mary in Stageland" is an.ii. t miou& production in the Edison Coir'oany's best style. In view of the small-pox scare this is a very appropriate pr--•fiurej Another rare fun-maker -* Tweedledum as Militant Suiragette," which gives a clever burlesque sketch. "Roderick's Ride" is a dashing, story by Selig, which shows how a manly fellow - rides twenty miles to the drug store against time, and saves his little sister's life. The third series of the scenic films dealing with St. Gothard railway were shown, the one to-night taking in the section between Wesson and Amsteg. The latest Gaumont Graphio and "A Trip to Cape Kidnappers" complc' -; a high-class series. This spleiuud programme will be repeated this evening and should not >a missed by those wishing to see a programme. A rare attraction is in store for Wednesday next, when the most popular picturedrama of the age, "A Fatal Wedding/' will be presented.
