A BISHOP'S OPINION. (SYDNEY "SUN" SPECIAL.) (Received Last Night, 7.10 o'clock.) LONIMJN, August 1. The Bishop of Pretoria, in a letter, states that public sympathy at first favoured the men, but since the rejection of the terms offered by the mine-owners, a:id the attempts at intimidation, opinion has changed.. The public were ae serious in their views as the Workers themselves. He believed that a ballot would show a big majority in favour of a compromise.
