This constitutes a record. 1 Prince Palatine wil lbe delivered to bis new owner after he has competed in the Jockey Club Stakes. He will then retire from the turf. • [Prince'Palatine is a* bay colt, by Persimmon—Lady Ligjbtfoot. Craganour, who finished first in this year's Epsom Derby, and was disqualified, was recently sold to the Argentine Government for £30,000, which was the next highest'figure to the £31,000 given for Diamond Jubilee, who also' went to the Republic as did the colt Jardy (£30,000), CyU® ne <£25,000); Val d'Or (£28,000), and lPolar Star (£18,900).]
