DEATH AFTER VACCINATION
A HASTINGS CASE. (By Telegraph.—Pros Association.) HASTINGS, Last Night. An inquest was held this morning concerning the death of Jeanette Kalrina Bullen, aged 12 years, who died on (Monday in a, fit of convulsions. The child was vaccinated with pupils of the State school on July 18th, and it was rumoured yesterday that death had resulted from blood poisoning, from the after effects of vaccination. The medical evidence at the inquest showed that the convulsions were brought on by congestion and inflammation of the bowels, and. that death was not. in any way due to vaccination. Dr Story, who made a post-mortem examination, said the ohild was suffering from tubercular disease.
