MEAT FOR CANADA.
~ A WELLINGTON SHIPMiWr. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Last Night. The M&itai this evening took to Auckland, for transhipment to the Niagara, a large quantity of frozen meat, consigned, by. the Wellington Farmers' Meat Co. (Masterton), the Gear Company, and the Wellington Meat Export Company, to Canada. This is the first large consignment shipped direct to the Canadian-Paci-fic Coast, and it is hoped that a profitable trade will be opened up by this "All Red" route.
