CARTERTON STOCK SALE. (Messrs "W. and G. Turnhnll and Co. Ltd. (late Jas. Macintosh and Cu\), report having -held their usual iort- v nightly sal® in their Cartorton eulo yards on Friday, July 25th, when they offered a very heavy yarding of qboth and cattle, which cams - forward well in excess of advertised numbers. {There wag a good representative number of buyers from ail parts of tho district, and, poinpetition being keen, practically the wlhole yarding was sold tinder tho hammer at prices well above late rates.
