WASTERTON COUNTY. ■\TOTICE is hereby given of the intention of the Masterton County Council at a meeting to be held on the 12th day of AUGUST, 1913, under the provisions of Sections 117 to 119- of . "The Counties Act, 1908," to. make the foJ] t o>ving rates for the year cominenced oil the , let day of April;* 1913, and ending on the 31st day of March, 1914, upon the capital rateable value of all rateable property within the County of Masterton as appearing on the Valuation Roll in force for the said period:— General rates of one halfpenny in the pound in each of the Ridings of Opaki, Rangitumau, Upper Taueru and Te Whiti. In the Riding of Waitiuioru: A general rate of one penny, and a separate rate of three-sixteenths of a penny in the pound. In the Riding of Alfredton: A general rate of one penny, and a separate rate of one farthing in the pound. A separate maintenance rate in the Upper Plain Water Supply District of one-seventh of a penny in the pound. A separate maintenance rate in the Opaki Water Supply District of nine-sixteenths of a penny in the pound. A separate maintenance rate, in the" Lansdowne Water Supply District of nine-sixteenths of a penny in the pound. The said rates will be payable in one sum at the County Office, Chapel Street, Masterton, on the 13th day of SEPTEMBER, 1913.
