A GRUESOME FIND.
EVIDENCE OF CHILD MURDER. (SYDNEY "SUN 1 ' SPECIAL.) (Received Last Night, 6.55 o'clock.) LONDON, July 26. The tenant of a top-floor in a house at Hackney complained of an offensive smell. An 'inspection disclosed the body of a nine-month i'-old child under a loose board in one of the lower rooms. The bodies of two children (twins aged "2$ years) were also found behind a cellar wall. i A young wooden-legged man, nam- j ed Frederick Robertson, occupied the rooms with his wife and children. Six weeks ago the wife was "removed to an infirmary owing to a breakdown in her health. Robertson departed, telling the neighbours that his children had been placed in the care of friends. He stated that he was worried over his wife's illness. RoSerTson has been arrested.
