BOXING.
THE MASTERTON TOURNAMENT Owing to a slight injury sustained whilst training, the local boxer, O. O. Olsen, will be unable to fulfil ihis engagement at the tournament a£ Masterton onWednesday next. Walter Ireland, the Hawke's Bay lightweight, .has therefore been retained to meet A. L. Tressider. One of the most lively boxers thai will be in the ring at Wednesday's tournament will be F. Knapps, the welter representative of the Bush Association, -and who is scheduled to meet E. Collerton, of Tenui. The Pahiatua man has fought several par- , ticularly willing battles, and is a great favourite at the northern ring--r " gfde. t Tickets for all seats at the tournamenf may now be obtained from the secretary, Mr Saville Smith, at Messrs W. B. Chennells and Co's. offices, Perry Street. No extra charge will be made for these tickets, the holders of which will be enabled to secure their seats immediately doors are opened.
