CROSS-COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIP.

THE NOMINATIONS. Great interest is being evinced in the Wellington Provincial Cross-Coun-try Championship, which takes place in Masterton on Saturday afternoon next. The course is five miles long, and will commence from the old showgrounds at 3 o'clock, the route extending in the direction of Manaia.
