PAHIATUA STOCK SALE
Messrs Dalgety and Coff Ltd., Masterton, report having held their usual weekly sale at Pahiatua, on Tuesday, 22nd inst. Owing to the inclemency of the weather, there was only a small attendance of buyers, and a,fair yarding of stock. A special entry of Romntey ewes offered on account of Mr J. E. Hewitt sold at 23s 6d; mixed hoggets 10s lid to I2s 4d, cull ewes 10s, mixed aged Romney.ewes 23s 6d.

Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., Wellington, have received cabled information from their London office dated July 17th, as follows: Frozen Meat. —Market quiet and prices unchanged. Tallow. —Mutton* is 3d per owt high. For other descriptions, any change in price is in fa-votvr of buyers.
