WAIPOUA STOCK SALE. Messrs W. and 0. Turnbull and Co. Ltd. (late Jas. Macintosh and Co.) report having held thoir us>ual weekly sale in their Waipoua. (Masteroon) Bale yards on Wednesday, July 16th, when they offered a .yarding of shoop and cattle a s advertised. There was a fair attendance, and bidding beinji keen, practically the whole yarding changed hands at prices well up to late prices. Prices realised were as follows:—4> 6 and ii-tooth owes in lamb to S.D. and Lincoln rams 17s 4d, f.m. ewes in lamb to S.D. 16s 7d, whom iambs 14s 3d, ewes in lamb to S.D. (poor condition) 10s 9d, ll s 7d, woolly wether lambs 13s, fat and forward lambs 14s 2d, fat ewes 17s 9d, 2 and 4-tootih wethers (small) 15s Sd to 16s 3d, fat and forward ewes 14s, small shorn lambs 7 s 7d, cull ewes 4s to 5s 9d. Fat and forward cows £3 13s to £4 10s, store cows £2 5s to £2 9s, cull cows £1 12s. SOLWAY STOCK SALE. Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report on their Sohray sale as follows: —A fairly good entry of sheep was offered to a good attendance of buyers. Competition was not quite s< good as last sales report, but we wen; success?u i in offssctin g a good c'lo xr - ance. A small line of pure-bred Lincoln ewes realised the satisfactory price of £2 10s. The following is . list of prices:—Small hoggets 7s 6d to Bs, best lines 12s to 12s Id, blac>< faced hoggetis to lis, pure bred 2tooth Lincoln ewes in lamb £2 10s. '■ The New Zealand' Ix>an and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report:— We submitted a fair entry of sheep to a good attendance of buyers at Solway yesterday. Competition was not sh keen as at previous .sales, and price? were somewhat easier throughiout. Light fat ewes made up to ' 15s 6d, empty ewes 13s 6d, ewes in lamb to S.D. rams to 16s sd, woolly lamha to 13s. SALE OF DAIRY STOCK. Messrs Levin and Co., Ltd., report :—We. held a clearing sale of dairy s tock at Matahiwi on account of Mr S. E. Holmes yesterday. Tlicio W's a good attendance of V».;*t», and competition was keen. Wo obtained from £9 to £lO 5s Tor young cows, due at factory dates, for later ealvors £5 to £7 15s, 2 and 3-year heifers £6 to £7 2s 6d, bulls 6i tfr 13 guineas; pigs, sows and litters to £ c •ss, weiners 19s 6d. JOHNSONVILLE STOCK SALE JOHNSONVILLE, Last Ni#t. Messrs ATwalwin and Williams, Ltd. report on their Johnsonville sale as follows: —A good yarding of prime bullocks and a medium one of sheep came forward and -sold well at late rates as follow®: —Prime heavy bu3flocks £l2 to £l2 ss, prime bullocks £ll 10s to £lllss } lighter £lO 15e to £ll 2s 6d, light vealera 25s to 275, prime iheavy wethers 23s 9d to 24s 2d, lighter 22s to 22s 9d, prime ewes £1 0s 6d, light owes 18s 5d to 19s, lambs 13s to 13s Id.
